CLINICIANS & SCIENTISTS

Bridging the Gap Between Clinicians, Scientists, and Tech Founders

Women’s health is your industry. You’ve trained to become a clinician or scientist. You help women across the nation with their health and wellness. You contribute to or run research projects designed to fuel societal understanding and acceptance of the female body.
But are you consulted as part of the femtech industry? Are you keeping up with the trends in femtech and how your patients or research subjects are using these devices? Do you integrate data from femtech products into the patient’s care plan? And how do you know if the data is even clinically or scientifically relevant?
Unfortunately, there is often a large gap between the femtech industry, the clinicians who provide medical services, and the scientists studying women’s health. Some of the femtech products on the market today are not accurate, haven’t been clinically tested, and can unintentionally harm women. Now is the time to make sure you have a voice in the femtech industry and that you can lend your expertise and insights to women’s health founders across the globe.

Femtech Medical Consultant Certificate

If you’re a clinician looking to get more involved with femtech companies, then the Femtech Medical Consultant Certificate (FMCC) program may be a perfect fit. The first program of its kind, the FMCC trains clinicians to work as advisors and officers in emerging femtech startups. We equip clinicians with the knowledge and skillsets to thrive in the fast-paced startup environment, teach them how to review and negotiate their contracts and compensation, provide best practices for addressing racism and implicit bias in technology, and discuss how clinician involvement in femtech can drive sustained change in women’s health.

What’s Covered

Our cutting-edge curriculum ensures you’ll stay up to date on the emerging femtech field while building practical skills to assist founders along their startup journey. During the program, you can expect to learn about the following topics (and more!):

Attend Virtually or Schedule an In-Person Training for Your Team

Virtual

The virtual FMCC program spans 10 weeks and requires attendance at one live, interactive training each week, followed by asynchronous learning and assignments. You’ll complete the program with a cohort of clinicians (each training is capped at 10 individuals), which will allow for enhanced insights, experience sharing, and networking. The virtual program allows you to learn and complete assignments at your own pace each week.

Cost: $3,000 per individual*
* Cohort 1 starts January 22, 2024 at a reduced price of $1,000!

In Person

We offer customizable in-person training for larger groups of clinicians, residents, and med students. In-person trainings often take the form of intensive seminars spanned over a 2-day period (approximately 5 hours of in-person learning each day). We’ll work with your organization to tailor the training to your clinicians’ interests and, if you’re an accredited CME provider, we’ll work with you to help obtain CME credits for your clinicians. If you’d like to schedule an in-person training, contact us for pricing and more details!
